This position plans and conducts investigations in defense of clients charged with criminal offenses, including client interviews, evidence analysis, scene investigation, witness location and interviews, records collection, and background checks.
The Criminal Investigator will work cooperatively with attorneys to develop strong client relationships, defense theories, and evidence supporting thereof.
The Criminal Investigator prepares reports of interviews and developments in case investigation.
The Criminal Investigator performs other duties as assigned.

Description of Duties:
The Criminal Investigator's duties include interviewing witnesses, client contact in the field and at local jails, knowledge of the community, service of subpoenas, filing of documents, possible testimony in a trial, assisting attorneys in trial, etc.
Job Description:
CRIMINAL INVESTIGATOR I Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND must meet the prerequisites and complete the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program certification OR Two years of experience in law enforcement or related field AND P.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
